CMS Says: It is possible a new hire could be referred to you by more than one agency who gives them a conditional certification. However, you as the employer will only be able to receive a single tax credit for the hire of a qualified individual, even if they potentially qualify under mu;tiple categories. The State Workforce Agency will issue a certification that indicates which category the employee is listed under.
