CMS Says: There is limited statistical data available broken down by category. Looking back at 2013 and 2014 WOTC data, individuals qualified under the Veteran categories accounted for 4.9 percent in 2013 (76,775 qualified), and 6.2 percent in 2014 (80,218 qualified). The Bureau of Labor Statistics also reported that there were 370,000 unemployed veterans in 2017. It’s fair to guestimate that around 5 percent of the total qualified Certifications are in the Veteran categories.
