WOTC Wednesday: Can I Use WOTC Forms That Were Never Submitted?

Posted on January 25, 2023January 17, 2023 by WOTC Blog

CMS’s Brian Kelly answers your questions about the Work Opportunity Tax Credit.

Today’s WOTC Wednesday question: Can I Use WOTC Forms That Were Never Submitted?

CMS Responds: It’s not uncommon for people using paper applications to let that pile up, and be misplaced within their office. So that’s why we encourage you to use our web portal or call center, you can go paperless at that time. If you have documents that are over 28 days, unfortunately you lost the capability to obtain the tax credit. #28dayrule
