CMS Responds: Is the WOTC Summer Youth Category Still Available? Actually it is. It got reinstated back in 2019. If you’re hiring folks that are in a HUD-related area that are between 16 and 18 years of age, in the summer, that category is still available for you to receive up to a $2,400 tax credit.
