The Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) has announced a new paperless alternative to the traditional WOTC application process. The traditional process required employers and consultants, like CMS, to mail the original signed copies of the WOTC application forms to the State. Florida’s new e-WOTC system allows employers and consultants to access the online system that can expedite the approval process.
The e-WOTC application process will save time by eliminating the need to mail in paper copies of applications and supporting documentation. The DEO’s secure online application process may also reduce the amount of time it takes to receive a determination.
